DESCRIPTION:Whether you’re a crafting pro or just looking for a fun way to celebrate the season\, this workshop is perfect for all skill levels. Plus\, enjoy the charm and history of our stunning venue while you design your wreath using fresh greens\, seasonal decorations\, and a dash of holiday magic! \nWe will show you how to create your own wreath and fill/decorate it with a mix of locally grown greens and foliage along with dried flowers and grasses from QBR. We will also walk you through how to make stunning\, showy bows to use throughout the holiday season.  \nTickets include light refreshments and a holiday themed 18th century cocktail and mocktail. \nTickets\nRegistration for this program will open in Fall 2026!  Keep an eye out for more information here or sign up for our mailing list to find out as soon as it opens.

Participants will learn how social class and wealth affected what food people had access to. \nKids and adults alike will have a great time learning history while cooking! This program is designed for families with kids 10-18\, but is open to participants of all ages. DESCRIPTION:Get ready to read\, learn\, and stand up! \nCalling all our fledgling scholars to join us for Storytime Saturdays! This program runs on the third Saturday of every month at 10:30 AM.\n\nPreschool aged learners are invited to join Gunston Hall Educators for a themed storytime. Our crafts and activities will help our young citizens gain essential skills including preschool readiness\, gross- and fine-motor refinement\, self-expression and more!\n\nEach monthly session will explore a different a theme that will help our fledgling scholars learn citizenship skills and about being part of a group. The program features a storytime\, followed by a craft to bring home\, related learning game or activity\, and an abbreviated tour of the mansion or grounds that focuses in on the theme of the day. Older siblings are also invited to join!\n\nCheck out the themes for the next few months below!\n\nThis program will run rain or shine\, so please dress for the weather!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDecember \n\n\nCommunity \n\n\n\n\n\n\nAdvance registration is preferred at: Buy December Storytime Saturday Tickets\nAdult: $10\nSenior: $8\nChildren 6-18:  $5\nChildren 5 and under: Complimentary  \nMembers receive complimentary admission.
