DESCRIPTION:Calling all little adventurers! \nStrap on your explorer boots and join us for Nature Thursdays! This program runs on the first Thursday of every month at 10:30 AM.\n\nYour preschool-aged ecologists will join Gunston Educators for a themed storytime and a nature hike to traverse the woods and waterways on the Grounds of Gunston Hall. Exploratory activities will help preschoolers gain essential skills including preschool readiness\, respect for our environment\, gross- and fine-motor refinement\, self expression and more!\n\nEach monthly session will explore a different a theme related to exploring the natural world around us. DESCRIPTION:Cocktails by Candlelight is now a series! \nWe’re expanding our much-beloved program to four events throughout the year.  In the spring and fall\, join us for the event you know and love.  In the winter\, roll in for a Game Night to light up the dark and\, in the summer\, you can meander through the flowers for our Garden Party.  \nJoin us for the event that sparked the Series: Cocktails by Candlelight.  Sip on period cocktails and sample historic foods while you enjoy the serenity of Mason Neck by candlelight.  Situated in the heart of the historic property\, this event offers the perfect opportunity to relax with friends and loved ones. \nParticipants must be 21 or older. \nRegistration\nSeries Package\nSeries packages are available for both individuals and for two people until May 1st. DESCRIPTION:Be a part of this special moment. Candidates for citizenship take the final step on a years-long journey during Gunston Hall’s semi-annual naturalization ceremony.  George Mason helped found the United States of America and paved the way for others to become citizens.  Mason’s historic mansion provides a backdrop for this incredibly moving ceremony. \n  \nTours of the Mansion are not available until noon on the ceremony day.  Admission is complimentary until 1 p.m.
