John Thomson Mason

     John was born at "Raspberry Plain", Loudoun Co., Va., on 8 January 1787. He married Elizabeth Baker Moir at Williamsburg, Va., on 9 February 1809.¹ John Thomson Mason was Andrew Jackson appointed Mason as Sec. of the Territory of Michigan between 1830 and 1831 at Michigan. He married Frances Magruder at Baltimore, Md., on 29 June 1845.² John died on 17 April 1850 at Fremont House, Galveston, TX., at age 63.³
