Saturday, July 25: Speak up, Speak out
Craft your way through history with Gunston Hall. This 250th Summer Saturday event highlighting crafting as a form of activism will showcase “craftivism” through the ages: from the homespun movement in the 18th century, through WWII and today. Explore demonstrations courtesy of community partners, try your hand at historic crafts, and take home patterns to help you speak up and speak out.
