Please join us on February 22nd at 1pm for our Historical Connections Between Gunston Hall and Shiloh Baptist Church free event!
Organized in collaboration with our Descendants Advisory Board, individuals who have traced ancestry to the enslaved population at Gunston Hall, the event will inform audiences on the connection between the historic site and the Baptist Church located just across the street! Formed in 1869, founding members of the Shiloh Baptist Church worked directly with Gunston Hall for generations. The event will include viewing a video further discussing the historic connection between the sites, a brief Q&A session, and a special award ceremony for congregation members that have attended Shiloh Baptist Church for over fifty years!
