Briana is a reporter for the U.S. Press Freedom Tracker, where she documents violations and broader threats to press freedom nationwide. She previously worked as an investigative reporter at the Las Vegas Review-Journal, covering everything from the 2017 mass shooting on the Las Vegas Strip to legal battles over press freedom. Her work centers on human rights, police misconduct, and misuse of public funds. A proud University of Florida alumna based in Las Vegas, she was named the Nevada Press Association’s 2022 Journalist of Merit and has earned other top honors, including awards from Best of the West and the Society of Professional Journalists.
