Spend the Summer at Gunston Hall!
Join us for a special edition of our annual Summer Saturdays, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States. Each all-day program features a civics-focused theme that connects history to today—exploring George Mason’s ideas and what it means to be American during this semi-quincentennial year.
Enjoy hands-on crafts, games, and activities for all ages, along with snacks, music, and community partners throughout the day.
Come play, learn, and celebrate with us!

Saturday, August 8: Community and Culture
We’re celebrating community at Gunston Hall for the 250th! Join us for a special Summer Saturdays program highlighting our local community and the cultures that shape it. Meet community partners, take home volunteer resources, and discover the role you can play locally. Enjoy a folklore story time, plus music, snacks, and games from around the world. And don’t forget to help us build a community scrapbook by showing us who you are!
