Samuel was born in 1883.1,2 He married Sarah Hill Barnes at Church of Our Savior, Philadelphia, Pa., on 3 July 1913. Samuel died on 3 March 1922 at Wilmington, De.. Samuel's will was probated on 19 April 1922.3
