Nancy Henderson was born on 21 November 1811 at Mason Co., Va.. As of 1822,her married name was Bronaugh. She married Thomas Jefferson Bronaugh, son of William Yelverton Bronaugh and Mary Catherine Peyton, in 1832. BRONAUGH, Nancy HENDERSON - abt 1816 - 1886
Bronaugh - On the old homestead, 2 miles northwest of Calhoun, Mo., Monday, February 1, at 3:30 p.m. Mrs. Nancy Bronaugh, aged about 70 years. Mrs. Bronaugh was born in Virginia and moved to Henry county with her husband and family in 1846, locating on the farm near Calhoun, which has since been her home. Her death was sudden and greatly deplored. Monday morning she was stricken with paralysis, and was not restored to consciousness. Death resulted during the afternoon. She leaves five children, all well known citizens of the county: Dr. John W. Bronaugh, at Shawnee Mound; Dr. James H. Bronaugh, at Calhoun; Lum and D. W. Bronaugh, farmers near the old homestead, and Mrs. H. P. Redford, near Calhoun.1
