Save the date for the commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the Virginia Declaration of Rights!
Friday, June 12
10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Help us commemorate the anniversary of the Virginia Declaration of Rights with a special naturalization ceremony on the lawn. Guests are invited to participate in a number of activities before the ceremony. Then, once the ceremony starts at 11 a.m., help us welcome 50 of America’s newest citizens on the 250th anniversary of the Declaration. Finally, join us for refreshments on the lawn and tours of the historic house.
Saturday, June 13
10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Come back on Saturday, June 13th for a festival-style celebration of the 250th anniversary of the Virginia Declaration of Rights. Enjoy live music, museum theater performances, hands-on activities, and engage with other civically minded organizations including HeadCount, Mason Neck State Park, and the Library of Virginia. Lunch and treats are available for purchase throughout the day.

*The Museum Theater program can take only 24 guests at one time. Participants may pick up a timed ticket, free of charge, for one of the performances on the day of the event.
Admission
On Friday, June 12th, admission is complimentary from open until 1 p.m. for the naturalization ceremony. After 1 p.m., general admission applies.
Admission is complimentary all day on Saturday, June 13th.
Rain or Shine
This special program will occur rain or shine. In the event of significant rainfall or thunderstorms, all activities will move to indoor locations.
