Each 45-minute session explores a historic dish tied to a specific group—whether it’s the Mason family, enslaved individuals at Gunston Hall, white laborers and tenant farmers, or the Native peoples of the region. Participants will gain insight into how social class and wealth influenced access to food.

Experience 18th-century cooking at Gunston Hall’s hearth kitchen during this immersive one-day workshop.
