Gunston Hall has many options that will please our diverse visitors.
Calling all little adventurers! Strap on your explorer boots and join us for Nature Thursdays! This program runs on the first Thursday of every month at 10:30 AM.
Your preschool-aged ecologists will join Gunston Educators for a themed storytime and a nature hike to traverse the woods and waterways on the Grounds of Gunston Hall. Exploratory activities will help preschoolers gain essential skills including preschool readiness, respect for our environment, gross- and fine-motor refinement, self expression and more!
Each monthly session will explore a different a theme related to exploring the natural world around us. The program features a storytime, followed by a guided nature hike and a related learning activity. Check out the themes for the next few months below!
This program runs rain or shine, so please practice outdoor preparedness and dress for the weather!
